• Architected a Loan Operations data visualization system to provide process metrics to the Lending team, which reduced process segment times by as much as 40%.
• Migrated the Forward Lending Department from a legacy system to a new loan operations system in 50 days, which became the benchmark implementation for the LOS vendor.

• Led the move from self-hosted email to Google Apps for Work, implementing all 60+ branch offices within a month.
• Lead developer and project manager on a major expansion of the proprietary back-office system to include the mortgage closing and funding process in-house.
• Lead developer and project manager to expand the back-office system to support a new correspondent and whole-loan purchase channel.
• Grew the Engineering team from one to six. Virtualized the development environment and migrated from CVS to git.

• Maintained and expanded a proprietary LAMP back-office system that managed everything from the loan origination system to accounting and payroll.
• Developed new security, testing, and version control procedures to manage and modernize a decade of system code. Created and refined a backup system to store offsite and warehouse terabytes of data.
• Spearheaded a social media initiative, including automatic website deployment for each loan officer based WordPress-based Multisite blog network. Work on SEO and AdWords.

Direct mail marketing startup.

• Architected an Apache/Perl reporting and automation system to view real-time email statistics, automate email campaign setup, and manage over 2000 domains, 2500 IP addresses, and over 40 servers at a dozen service providers worldwide.
• Directed operations and managed a dozen contract, part-time, and overseas workers. Lead administrator for a farm of over 50 servers at a dozen service providers. Created the network architecture and procedures, and defined backup and recovery from hardware through redundancy requirements to testing and monitoring.
• Extensive experience with Red Hat/CentOS, Debian, FreeBSD, Apache, MySQL, Perl, PHP, rsnapshot, and database replication. Some experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and C.

Hired on to facilitate online registrations and operations across NASA’s regional offices.

• Maintained more than half a dozen sites supporting more than 15,000 registered members. Responsible for internet ventures at an amateur auto racing sanctioning body, from websites to servers to email marketing to customer service.
• Kernel-level experience with FreeBSD and Red Hat/CentOS. Installed and configured FreeBSD, RAID, Apache (mod_perl, mod_ssl), sendmail, BIND, MySQL, POP and LDAP, NFS, NAT, DHCP, and backups. Languages included Perl, PHP, and Javascript.

Online flower shop startup. Responsible for maintenance, backup, and administration of a dozen Windows servers at 3 physical locations, including a 100-seat call center, for the third largest online florist.

• Company created to build the membership and registration system for the National Auto Sport Association. Co-created a system that supported 10,000 annual members and 200 annual events and distributed money via ACH to more than a dozen affiliate chapters.
• Hosted and ran RacerPhoto.com, a two man operation that took and sold photos at NASA events.

Lead manager at a small web development company.

• Primary architect for the “live jail cam” from an Arizona prison for the crime.com, a company backed by COPS creator John Langley and later sold to USA Networks.
• Managed the internal organization and supervised a dozen employees and several simultaneous projects.

Constructed and organized websites for studio property projects, including the $60 million Jerry Springer “Too Hot” video campaign. Created and managed web and video projects for Fox Searchlight. Responsible for email support and administration of local Windows NT servers.
